What I love about this Homemade Toilet Bowl Cleaner is its non-toxic, easy to make & use and as effective as the store-bought brands. This homemade toilet bowl cleaner recipe only has three ingredients….ingredients you probably already have on hand!

I don’t compromise when it comes to clean so I’m thrilled to share this winning solution. Try it out yourself:

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 1/2 cup baking soda
  • 1/2 cup distilled white vinegar
  • 10 – 12 drops tea-tree oil

Tip: If you need to make a larger batch just keep a 1:1 ratio baking soda to vinegar; use tea tree oil to scent to your preferred level.

INSTRUCTIONS
Pour Baking Soda directly into the toilet boil, then add drops of oil, and finally add the vinegar. When the baking soda and vinegar combine it creates a foaming reaction, while the tea tree oil sanitizes and provides a clean fresh scent. Let the foaming mixture set for 10 minutes and then clean bowl with a scrubbing brush. Now marvel at your clean toilet bowl  from a cleaner that only costs you pennies per batch to make.

Did you know: There are properties in tea tree oil that kill bacteria and fungus.
