Twine wreath

Faux Foilage

Raffia ribbon

In addition to the materials above, you also need wooden skewers and green floral wire to secure decorative elements to wreath form.

Tools To Use

  • Scissors
  • Pliers or wire cutter
  • Your imagination

How-to Instructions

  • Step 1

Layout all of your materials on your work space. Imagine how you might like to have your items arranged.

  • Step 2

I like to determine which side will be top of the wreath and work from middle top. Cut a few pieces of wire, long enough to wrap around the circumference of the wreath form.

  • Step 3

Begin by wrapping the end of your floral vine at your start point and secure tightly with a cut piece of wire. Continue looping the vine and scuring with wire all around the wreath form, taking care to adjust as needed so all leaves and flowers are nicely arranged. Once you meet back at the top, secure with wire.

  • Step 4

Next start adding your decorative elements. Its best to use a foam based decor (like the pumpkin I used) as they are lightweight and you can pierce them easily with a wood skewer and position it exactly where you want it to appear. Add your remaining decorative elements, ribbons or bows.

  • Step 5

Cut a long piece of raffia or decorative twine; wrap around the top, form a loop and twist a piece of wire to secure loop. Hang wreath and enjoy!
