Recipe: Deej’s Keto Cheesesteak Sliders

Ingredients

For the cheeseteak filling

  • 1 lb of sliced sandwich steak
  • 1 Green bell pepper
  • 1 Onion
  • 8oz Mushrooms, Sliced Baby Bella
  • Sliced Cheddar cheese (or cheese you prefer)
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tbsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tbsp Sea salt
  • 1 tbsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Soy sauce
  • Cooking spray or olive oil

Recipe Directions

  • Chop

    Chop steak into thin strips, about 2″ in length. Add to a bowl and mix with all seasonings and soy sauce. Set aside.

  • Brown Meat

    Heat oiled skillet over medium-to-high heat. Once hot, place marinated steak into pan. Saute until browned to your liking.

  • Assemble

    Turn on broiler. Line a pan with foil. Start assembling slider by placing a bun on bottom, topped with steak, then mushroom mixture and finally cheese. (Tip: I use same circle cutter to cut cheese so it fits perfectly. The cutaway cheese I either snack on or throw on top of sandwich so all the gooey goodness stays in sandwich). I broil until cheese melts..and just starts to brown. Plop on a bun on top and ENJOY!
