Ingredients
- 1 pint brussels sprouts (about a pound)
- 5 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (for coating pan)
- 5 cloves garlic, peeled
- Sea salt and pepper (to taste)
Recipe Directions
Tip: Pairs great with grilled chicken, salmon or meatloaf.
Heat oven to 400 degrees. Trim bottom roots off brussels sprouts, then slice each sprout in half. Heat oil in cast-iron pan over medium-high heat; put sprouts in one layer in pan. Add in garlic. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Cook (undisturbed) until sprouts start browning on bottom, toss, cook additional 1-2 minutes and then transfer to oven. Roast, shaking pan every 5 minutes, until sprouts are quite brown and tender, about 10 to 15 minutes.
Taste, and season as necessary.
Tip: Pairs great with grilled chicken, salmon or meatloaf.
