Recipe: Deej’s Slowcooker Keto Chili


  • 1 ½ pounds ground beef
  • 1 white onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 green pepper, diced
  • 1 poblano pepper, chopped
  • 15 ounces canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 3/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

Recipe Directions

  • Brown beef

    Add the ground beef, chili powder, cumin, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, italian seasoning, and parsley to large skillet over medium heat, breaking up the meat as it cooks.

  • Add vegetables & broth

    Once beef has browned, add the onion, poblano pepper, minced garlic, green pepper, diced tomatoes, beef broth and salt.

  • Slow cook

    Bring to a boil for 5 minutes and then put in slow cooker on low for couple hours to allow flavors to infuse into the meat.

    Tastes great when served with chopped green onions, sour cream and shredded cheese on top.

    Notes –
    The longer the chili simmers, the better the flavor will be. Add additional broth if too much cooks off during the slow cooker stage.
